The item view is where you customize menu items to your needs.
You can drag items from outside FastOpen and drop it on
the Item View. Try dragging from the Start menu, Explorer or FileQuest and
see
what happens.
Name - This is the text that will be displayed in the
menu. You can create accelerators for menu items by preceding the designated accelerator
letter with '&'.
Properties - This will open the properties dialog for the item.
Use the file group to modify the menu item
path. You can type in a path your self or use the two buttons on the right
side. Using the buttons you
can easily pick a folder/file
Item.
Folder Options - When you select a
folder to open you have two additional check boxes. You can open a DOS window
instead of opening the
regular folder window and you can also open the folder in a
double paned Explorer view. Note that you can't have both options selected at
the
time.
Send To - Use the Send To item to send the item to various Windows system folders.
Test - Press the Test button to see
how the item run. This is the same like selecting it from the menu. You can also
double click the item in the
tree view to test it.
The open group set defines how the item will
open. You can select three modes to open and also assign a wave file to play
when you select the
menu item.
Use this edit box and browse folder button to select a start up folder for the item. This can be handy with some programs.
You can define a fixed command line argument
for the item or check the 'Prompt for Arguments' check box and FastOpen will
prompt you
every time you select the item from the menu.
